My name is Maggie Jackson and I am a rising Senior, majoring in Public Health at the University of South Carolina. My life of being an MK (missionary kid) started when I was thirteen months old in Ethiopia. Since then I have lived in countries all over the world and have been blessed to be a part of several mission trips to Europe and Central America. I have been very fortunate to have lived such a life for the past twenty-two years and if I had to do it all over again, I know I wouldn't want to be anything other than an MK. I have a heavy heart for people, whether they are rich or poor, healthy or sick, and I know that I have been called to serve in a public health ministry. I am excited to be a part of this internship because I love the ministry and the people in it. Plus, I always get extra excited when I get to go south of the equator to where my heart lies, to my second home, to Bolivia.
